After graduating in Marketing (CELSA, ESSEC), she started out at Alain Afflelou (optical product retail) before becoming Marketing & Communication Manager at Frantour (tourism). She then worked at the ACCOR group as Direct Sales Manager for the Tourism division, then Marketing and Business Development Director on the Internet team at Accorhotels.com. She joined Sephora in 2005 and won France’s “E-Commerce Personality of the Year Award” (“Homme E-Commerce de l’Année”) in 2009. She managed multichannel retail issues such as marketing, communication, e-commerce & CRM for Sephora in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. In 2012, the LVMH Group appointed Rachel Marouani as CEO of FRED Joaillier. Rachel Marouani is developing the company in collaboration with her teams, driving it forward as a major player in the jewellery business, marketing designs that are easy to wear, innovative, bold and sophisticated, in various geographical territories including France, Japan, Korea and China.
